Louisiana and Washington DC have the top death rate due to liver cancer with 6.6 deaths per 100,000 people, followed by Texas and Mississippi at 6.1 deaths and Hawaii at 5.9 deaths per 100,000 people. States with the lowest deaths rates due to liver cancer include North Dakota at 2.6 deaths, and Iowa, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah and Vermont at 3 deaths per 100,000 people.
