Heart disease is the number one killer in the US with 647,457 deaths in 2017, followed by Cancer at 599,108 deaths and (unintentional) Accidental deaths at 169,936 people. Suicide comes in at the tenth place with 47,173 deaths, which shows over 129 people are killing themselves every single day. A sobering thought.
